He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Herman and Doris Marie Riley Gray; his sister Mary Alice Gray Stephenson; and his brother-in-law David Sparks. He is survived by: his daughters, Samantha Gray and Amanda Gray Napier (Tim Coots); his sisters, Dollie Runion (Floyd) and Ethel Sparks; his brother-in-law Roy Stephenson; his grandchildren, Anessa Jae Wilder (Josh) and Emily McFarland; his great grandchild Jenson Kenneth McFarland; and his niece Alyssa Rae Stephenson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made in Sammy's honor to the Green Hills Funeral Home.
