He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hurst and Doxie Greene Hurst; and his brother John Hurst. He is survived by: his nephew Jimmy Hurst (Yvonne); his niece Phyllis Arnett; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nicole Hatfield (Aaron), Joy Lynn Allen (Gary), David Arnett and Terry Arnett (Lisa); and his close friends, Virgil Barnett and John Arnett, Jr.. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
