It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Omer Lovely Jr. of Minnie, Kentucky, born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Omer Lovely; and his siblings, Chad Lovely, Brian Manns and Tina Manns. He is survived by : his mother Ernestine Ratliff Manns of McDowell, KY; his wife Sharlette Akers; his stepson Brandon Akers of Lexington, KY; his stepgrandson Oliver Akers; his pet Chelsea; his sister Rebecca Hunter of Wayland, KY; his niece Chasity Hunter; and his nephews, Brian Manns Jr. and Tyler Manns of Benny Joshua.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Martin (7 Clinic Dr, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
