It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Atkinson of Monticello, Kentucky, who passed away on October 26, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Atkinson and Mary Atkinson (Waters); his wife Elizabeth Atkinson; his son Darrell Atkinson; and his siblings, Willard, Ellis Lee Atkinson, Wilma Carter and Linda Sue Atkinson.
He is survived by : his daughters, Deborah Abbott (Shawn), Brenda Carroll (Bo), Connie Piercy (Dallas) and Cathey Atkinson; his grandchildren, Stephanie Corder, Derek Piercy, Katarra Dobbs, Felicia Carroll, Ashley Piercy, Heather Abbott, Alex Piercy, Laurie Abbott, Zachary Piercy and Matthew Abbott; his great grandchildren, Gracie Corder, Briar Corder and Fox Piercy; and his siblings, Donnie Atkinson, Ina Denney, Betty Carter and Shirley Asberry.
