With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Rains of Monticello, Kentucky, who passed away on November 27, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Hancock and Mary "Okal" Hancock (Daniels); her husband Harvey Rains; and her siblings, Ima Jean Zipoy, Beulah Hancock, Clara Jane Hancock, Clyde Leon Hancock and Harlan Paul Hancock.

She is survived by : her sons, Dewey Rains and David Rains; and her sister Eula Faye Massengale. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance.
