He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Augustus Butters and Emma Johnson Butters; and his sisters, Joan Burchfield and Eliza Fouts. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Dutton (Mark) of Chattanooga, TN, Suzanne Fraliex (Bruce) of Nashville, TN and Jeffrey Butters (Sheila) of Lebanon, TN; his sisters, Lois Kelly of Tampa, FL and Geraldine Green of North Vernon, IN.; his grandchildren, Andrew Dutton, Daniel Dutton, Keith Butters and Jennifer Butters; and the mother of his children Kay Foster Towery. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
