She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Taylor Purvis and Frances Edith Dempley; and her siblings, Robert Purvis, Tommy Purvis and Ruth Jean Hume.

She is survived by : her children, Teena Fritts (Bo) of Mount Eden, Kimberly Clymer of LaGrange and Joseph Clymer (Carol) of Louisville; and her siblings, Shirley Shouse, Marty Clark and Darrell Purvis. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren; her twenty-four great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
