She was predeceased by : her parents, Ephram Edwards and Julie Bell Edwards; and her husband Bill Van Hoose. She is survived by : her siblings, Evelyn, Melvin, Lloyd (Vera), Bruce (Ruth), Ella Rose (Raymond Lafftery) and Cecil (Margaret); her sister-in-law Margaret; her children, Ron (Pam), Tom, Kathy, Gary (Cindy) and Becky (Gary); her grandchildren, Brandon, Jennifer, Jon, Sarah, Clint, Mindy, Boe, Lara, Jarrod and Adam; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Logan, Walker, Millie, Bowen, Ethan, Avery, Jordyn, Bella, Jonathan II, Zoe, Tyler and Bryson. She is also survived by her cousins, aunts, uncles, and their children.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Home (80 Maple Dr, Mt Vernon, KY 40456). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, March 16th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Cresthaven Cemetery.
