He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Roos and Grace Ryerson Roos; and his siblings, Adina Roos Stacy, Elizabeth Roos McKnight, John Roos, Paul Roos, James Roos and Philip Roos.

He is survived by : his significant other Glenda Louise Philen Roos; his daughters, Melanie Roos Dawson (Roger), Amy Rebecca Roos and Debbie Roos Cunningham (Sammy); his grandchildren, Kayla Cunningham, Elizabeth Dawson Howard (Zach), Alyssa Cunningham Henson (Jerrod), Bradley Dawson, Emily Dawson and Mariah Cunningham; his great grandchild Sawyer James Henson of Murray, KY; his siblings, Carleen Roos Modisette, Lois Roos Gunn, Joseph Roos of Texas and Peter Roos of Texas; his friend Lillian Olazabal Gierhart; and his daughter Angela. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to First Christian Church of Murray, Needline of Murray, or the Murray-Calloway County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
