He was predeceased by : his siblings, Gerald Lee Prather, Kathy Taylor and Chestina Barnett (Donald). He is survived by : his wife Regena Mae Muse Prather; his children, Tim Prather (Vickie) of Nancy, Terry Prather (Kara) of Nancy and Debbie Prather Moore (Brett) of Lexington; his sister Sue Angevine (Roger) of Somerset; his brother-in-law Charlie Taylor of Somerset; and his grandchildren, Reba Prather, Mason, Connor Moore, Taylor Moore, Maggie Prather and Wade Prather.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Gideon Bible Memorial Fund.
