She was predeceased by: her husband John C. Everett; her sister JoAnn Waltrip; and her grandson Andy Tibbs. She is survived by: her children, Scott Tibbs (Trish) and Mary Kay; her stepson Johnny Everett; her grandchildren, Allison Neumann (Geoff), Patrick, Kathleen and Brandon Bosworth (Leah); her great grandchild Lucas Bosworth; and her brother Doug Purvis (Anne).
