He was predeceased by : his stepfather William L. "Tom" Thomas. He is survived by : his friends, Tim, Steamer, Mike and Neil; his children, Jessica Owens of New Castle and Justin Hall of Bedford; his mother Hallie Thomas of Trimble County; his siblings, Vicki Coiner (Kenneth) of Lexington and Jon Berry (Tina) of Louisville; his girlfriend Nicole Bennett of Bedford; and his stepsiblings, Margaret Thomas of Colorado Springs, CO, Kathy Conroy (Pat) of Pleasureville and Lee Thomas (Irene) of Groveland, Mass..

Memorial contributions may be given to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
