She is survived by: her children, Clifford Roland, Karen Anderson (Burke) and Charles Roland (Terri); and her grandchildren, Jeffery Roland, Michael Anderson, Daniel Anderson (Lisa), Deanne Headrick (Brandon), Charles Roland and Curtis Roland.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Charles P. Roland Fellowship through the History Department of the University of Kentucky, or Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee.
