She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Fryman and Rhoda Fryman. She is survived by: her children, Steven McCarty (Diana Daugherty), Springfield, James D. McCarty (Eddie Walters) and Pamela McCarty (Mark Hobbs); and her siblings, Janine "Doll" Norton, Carolyn Faye Cox (Malcom) and Myron. She is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care, 2312 Alexandria Dr., Lexington, KY 40504.
