He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Walters and Marjorie Brock Walters Perkins. He is survived by: his sisters, Carolyn Ethington and Mary Shewmaker of Centre, Ala; his significant other Betty Best; his nephew Marty McCallahan; and his stepson Jamie Smoot.
