It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Gulley (Nicholasville, Kentucky), who passed away on December 19, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Allen "Tom" Story and Nettie Florence Johnson Story; her siblings, Woodford "Buck" Story, James "Bud" Story and Ruby Story Waggoner; her husband Henry Thomas "Tommy" Gulley; and her sons, Larry Thomas Gulley and Kyle Douglas Gulley.

She is survived by: her children, Johnny Lewis Gulley (Bonnie) of Elizaville, Jerry Michael Gulley (Donna) of Georgetown, Rickey Allen Gulley (Joyce) of Lakeland, Darrell David Gulley of Fleming County, Kevin Newell Gulley (Christine) of Little Hocking, Maleia Carol Kinder (George) of Nicholasville, Eric Keith Gulley of Louisville and Donna Lynn Harris of Nicholasville. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

“I (candy lady) went to visit Dorothy's nursing home last week and missed her wheeling about in the hallway. I have enjoyed visiting Dorothy over the years. We used to communicate and laugh. When I met her, I told her my grandmother's name was "Dorothy" and I would always remember her name. We even did puzzles together on occasion. She always had a mischievous look on her face and she will be missed when I go to visit. Prayers to her family and friends. Linda Hostetter”
