He was predeceased by: his significant other Debra Gibby; his parents, Ira Davis and Ethel Middelton Davis; his sons, Mike and Gary; his grandsons, Shea and Patrick; and his siblings, Richard, Sandra, Martha and Vivian.

He is survived by: his children, George (Genny) and Judy (Donnie); and his sister Rita. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three step-children; ten step-grandchildren; and several step-great grandchildren.
