She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon James Sluss and Beatrice Catherine Sluss (Kappler). She is survived by: her husband Arthur W. Ries II (Art); her daughter Michele Lynn Ries; her siblings, Chris Magri, Gordon (Preppy) and Bill Sluss; and her nephew Daniel Schlueter (Dan).
