She was predeceased by: her parents, Kyle Carter and Lillian Harmon Carter. She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Crowe (J. D.) of Nicholasville and Bradley K. Moore (Donna) of Richmond, VA.; and her sister Jean Elmore of Poland, IN.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
