She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Sr. and Thelma Whitt Shelton; her significant other William Alexander (Bill); and her siblings, Jay Shelton, Mae Buffin, Anna Staley, Ida Tate and Betty Ockerman.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Alexander and Alan Alexander (Tonya); her grandchildren, Nicole Damon (Matt) and Brock Alexander; her great grandchildren, Madison, Noah Damon, Joshua and DJ Alexander; and her siblings, Barbara Nash, Sue Griffith (David) and Bobby Shelton (Debbie). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
