She is survived by: her children, Shirley Nicole Smith, Lena, Bruner and Edward Allen Lay; and her grandchildren, Octavia Smith, Aven Houp, Andrea Smith, Fernando Gomez and Nevaeh Gomez. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and adopted children and grandchildren.
