He was predeceased by: his daughter Pearl Lynn Lay; and his brother Gary Houp. He is survived by: his son Robert Houp (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Amanda Wood (Andrew), Christina Ruggiero (Anthony), Berry Houp (Anna), Jared Houp, David Lay (Tanika), Caleb Wood, Gunner Ruggiero, Lilly Ruggiero, Rylan Lay, Marty Houp, Mitzy Woosley, Darle Houp and Anthony Houp.
