He was predeceased by: his father Basil Frederick; and his son Timothy Frederick. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hawkins Frederick; his children, Crystal Sue Larsen (Timothy), Stephen Grant Frederick (Tammy), Barry "Mike" Frederick (Debbie) and Matt Frederick (Carmen); and his grandchildren, Tara Campbell (Chris), Joshua Frederick (Amy), Jason Frederick (Nicole), William H. Nowlin, III, Erica Reynolds (Justin), James A. Taylor, II, Tabitha Hayes (Cooper), Cory Frederick, Kelley Frederick, Audrey Frederick and Jessica Elliott (Stevie). He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 11 siblings.
