She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cosby Odom and Connie Bell Walker Odom; her husband J. B. Ballard; her son Donald Ballard; and her siblings, Karlene Cobb, George Odom, Ed Odom and Jack Odom.
She is survived by: her children, James Ballard of Hopkinsville, KY, Ronald Ballard (Paula) of Henderson, KY, Connie Owens (Mitchell) of Nashville, TN, George Ballard (Deana) of Oak Grove, KY and Joey Ballard of Oak Grove, KY; and her sister Mildred Preston of Onton, KY. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Locust Grove Baptist Church, Herndon United Methodist Church, and the giver's favorite charity.
