He was predeceased by : his parents, George B. Blanton and Rushia Jackson Blanton. He is survived by : his wife Opal Lene Russell Blanton; his children, Greg Blanton (Jenny) of Oil Springs, Kentucky, Michelle Blanton Spriggs (James) of Thelma and Dee Dee Blanton Wallen (David) of Louisville, Kentucky; his siblings, Chalmer Blanton of Campton, Donald Ray Blanton of Carey, Ronald Blanton of Oil Springs, Kentucky and Juanita Rinehart of Missouri; his grandchildren, Tarah Spriggs, Tanner Spriggs, Mason Blanton, Blake Blanton and Parker Blanton; and his great grandchild Kaylee Spriggs.
