We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 82, Scottie Keith Somerville of Oil Springs, Kentucky passed away. He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul David Somerville and Ernestine Synder Somerville; and his wife Carolyn Sue Fields Somerville. He is survived by : his daughter Kimberly Carol Cantrell of Hager Hill, Kentucky; his sisters, Della Coleman of Paintsville, Kentucky and Lola Jean Wells (Larry) of Paintsville, Kentucky; his granddaughter Tiffany Blanton (Denny); and his great grandchildren, Tinlee Blanton, Gabriella Blanton and Carter Blanton.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Church of God (205 8th St, Paintsville, KY 41240). A burial was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at the Highland Memorial Park (551 KY RT).
