Doris June Murphy Blandford Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris June Murphy Blandford of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Y. Murphy and Imelda Hicks Murphy; her husband Gerald W. Blandford, Sr.; her son Gerald W. Blandford, Jr.; and her siblings, Jack Murphy, Joan Froehlich and Randy Murphy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tamra Joan Burcham (Kevin) of Owensboro and Beth Marie Hunter (Shawn) of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Emily Reardon (Brian), Eric Burcham (Sarah) and Claire Hunter; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Hiland, Brooks Burcham and Ada Reardon; her sisters, Faye Millay and Benita Martin (Paul); and her siblings-in-law, Diane Lane (Byron), Julia Graziano (Nick), Don Blandford and Tom Blandford (Helen). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Mother Catholic Church (601 E 23rd St, Owensboro, KY 42303). A prayer will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303).
