She was predeceased by: her parents, Mearl Wadley and Annette King Wadley; and her husband David Stuart Slaughter. She is survived by: her children, Tina Slaughter Heath (Tim) of Lexington, KY and Mark Slaughter (Jody) of Burnsville, Minnesota.; her grandchildren, Dustin Pugel (Shelly), Josh Pugel (Hayley), Hannah Pugel (Claudio), Wesley Slaughter (Sarah) and Mary Katherine Slaughter (Wade); her great grandchildren, Beckett and Wendell Pugel; and her siblings, Bruce Wadley (Diane), Phyllis Buck (Wayne) and Mary Conrad (Paul).
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions be made to the First Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir or Hospice of Western Kentucky.
