He was predeceased by: his father William Houston Otis; his wife Loraine Corey Otis; his siblings, Eula Warren, Frances Craig, Glenna Otis and Houston Otis; and his grandson Dustin Otis.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Dale Otis (Teresa), Jerry Otis (Tannie) and Drucella Staton (Gary) of Owingsville; and his grandchildren, Daphan Allen, Jed Staton, Jessica Staton, Keysha Otis, Reef Lewis and Freedom Lewis. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
