It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Comer Purvis of Owingsville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Sandy Hurst; his children, Michelle Miller (Marc), Jamie Blevins (Brian), Daniel Hurst, Charles Hurst (Kortni) and Dustin Hurst (Anitta); his siblings, Donna Donovan (Mike), Rosemary Baker (Bob), Karen Kirkpatrick (Mark), Carl Purvis and Floyd Purvis; his grandchildren, Cheyeanne, Caleb, Peyton, Deim, Mikey, Logan and Aiden; and his great grandchild Nova. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
