She was predeceased by: her parents, John S. Whitton and Mabel Atchinson Whitton; her husband Orville J. Sorrell; her son Terry Logan Sorrell; and her sister Ida Belle Rogers.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Jean Ann Richards Sorrell; her grandson Morgan Jay Sorrell (Ciarra); her great grandchildren, Emery Claire Dodge, Aspyn Ray Sorrell and Saige Fraylyn Sorrell; and her close friend Joy Mcilvain. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael R Gray Funeral Home (89 Slate Ave, Owingsville, KY 40360). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Owingsville Cemetery (129 Cemetary St, Owingsville, KY 40360).
