She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy F. Abanatha and Alice Odell Buchanan Abanatha; her husband Warren E. Scott; her son Michael Scott; her granddaughter Emily Smith; and her siblings, Marianna Bowlin, Martha Pryor, Malcolm Abanatha and Joe Ben Abanatha.
She is survived by: her children, Melia Wood, Mindy Hawkins (Todd) and Myron Scott (Christi) of Paducah, KY; her brothers, Royce Lee Abanatha of Cunningham, KY and Ronnie Abanatha of Cunningham, KY; and her grandchildren, Evan Smith (Sarah), Kayla Reno, Jacob Reno (Tabatha), Heather Scott, Lynsie Talbert (Brent), Michael Benitez (Cyndi) and Autumn Redman (Curtis). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
