He was predeceased by: his parents, Oma Coryell and Morrison Coryell; and his sister Anita Adams. He is survived by: his siblings, Pat Adams of Paducah, Brenda Scott of Paducah, Donna Coryell of Paducah, Sam of Springfield and George of Baton Rouge; his daughters, Julie Coryell of Berkeley, Roxane Coryell of Ashland and Chantal Coryell of Sacramento; and his significant other Kim Hill. He is also survived by friends but his influence as a father, brother, uncle, friend.
