She was predeceased by : her parents, Clifford "Wart" Garrett and Willie Alice Carpenter Garrett; her husband Paul Phillips; her brothers, Wade Garrett and Tony Garrett; her great grandchild Ryan Scott; and her former life partner Larry Seratt.

She is survived by : her children, Tonya Teeters of Wickliffe, Tori Rogers (James) of Paducah and Kyle Seratt (Stacy) of Wickliffe; her grandchildren, Nick Scott (Dilly), Clayton Teeters (Laken), Allie Seratt, Kylah Seratt, Sydney Seratt, Amanda Haberberger (Bob), Ashlee Davidson (Matt) and Katie Tiller; her siblings, Gail Jennings of Paducah, Vickie Cunningham (David) of Paducah, Nancy Riggs of Germantown, Jill Harris (Larry "Gizz") of Wickliffe, Rodney Garrett (Toni) of Wickliffe and Timmy Garrett; and her sister-in-law Goldie Garrett of Arlington.
