She was predeceased by : her parents, Luther Holt and Nora Bell Blair; her husband Charles Copeland; her sisters, Dorothy Blair, Gracie Cummings and Evelyn Jones; and her granddaughters, Lawriel Q'Hantiz Sains and A'myracle Mi'Love Ford Hutcherson.

She is survived by : her daughters, Adonnus Sains (Stefan) of Paducah, KY, Terra Copeland of Paducah, KY, Vonda Copeland of Paducah, KY, Constance Copeland of Paducah, KY, Carolyn Hutcherson of Paducah, KY, Sharon Burell (Roy) of Columbus, OH and Marquetta Copeland of St. Louis, MO; and her niece Stephanie Blair of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.
