He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley G. Jones and Louise Stokes Jones; and his siblings, Jackey Ray Jones and Darlene Jones. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his son Rickie Dale Jones; and his siblings, Sylvia Hill, Dixie Pratt, Sue Smiddy, Louellen Rundles and Garvy Jones. He is also survived by three grandchildren;and several nieces and nephews.
