He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertrand Beasley and Marjorie Hall Beasley; and his brothers, Howard Lee Childress and Ernest Childress. He is survived by: his children, Shirley O'Bryan (John) of Paducah, LaDora Patterson (Sal) of Paducah, Joyce Buchanan of Blue Ridge, GA, Juanita Ling (James) of Hinesville, GA, Alecia Porter of Nashville, TN and James Beasley (Rita) of Paducah; his brother Charles Edward Beasley of Paducah; and his close friends, Luana Lewis and T. J. Bowles, Jr.. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
