The memory of Shirley Jean Kortz of Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on May 30, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ellen Futrell and J. P. Crenshaw; her husband William J. Kortz Sr.; her son William J. Kortz Jr.; and her siblings, Sherron Crenshaw, Barbara Nell Crenshaw and Michael Crenshaw.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Thomas Kortz (Janice) of Caulfield, MO and Marcia Ann Whitehouse (Fred) of O'Fallon, MO; and her siblings, Johnny Crenshaw, J. P. Crenshaw Jr., Martha Bell, Patricia Rohrer, Dianne Neblett and Emma Dixon. She is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
