He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Everett and Myrtle Elizabeth Beshear Scalf; his children, Robert Wesley Scalf and Elizabeth Ann Scalf; and his brothers, Robert Alan Scalf and Richard Dean Scalf.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Elizabeth Brower; his children, Daniel Scalf (Elizabeth) of Peoria, Stephen Scalf (Cynthia) of Carlisle, Mary Neal of Pocatello and Rebecca Tateoka (Theodore) of Hazelton, Idaho; and his siblings, Susie Jones, Judy Lee (David) and William Scalf. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
