He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Estes and Elsie Ruth Hedges Long. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Gay Long; his children, James Long, Jr. (Veronica) and Ann Marie Long Frederick (Colby); his grandchildren, Cheyanna Frederick Morrison (Jeremy), Leianna Frederick (Lucas), Logan Frederick, Deanna Long, Austin Long, Dustin Boisseau, Sierra Boisseau and Amanda Boisseau; his great grandchild Koda White; his sisters, Betty Reinsmith, Brenda Cook (Rex), Mary Dampier (James) and Phyllis Courtney (Roy); and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Long and Wayne Jones. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
