He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter P. Wyles and Elizabeth Thompson Wyles; his granddaughter Abigail Herrin; and his brother James W. Wyles (Ada). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Parr Wyles; his children, Jennifer Herrin (Jeff) and Jeremy Wyles (Miranda); his grandchildren, Rachel Herrin, Isaac Herrin of Abigail Herrin, J. W and Delta Wyles; and his cousin Barbara Carter (Rankin). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
