He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Amanda Jane Mynear; his wife Dorothy Ellen Mynear; his children, Lowell Gene Mynear, Melvin Jay Mynear and Shirley Ann Clem; and his granddaughter Kathy Jo Clem.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Sexton of Mt. Sterling, Ronnie Mynear (Hazel) and Jimmy Mynear (Jenny) of Paris. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
