He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Cosby; his stepfather Robert Franks; his brother Larry Thomas Cosby; his brother-in-law Robert Rice; and his nephew Larry "Bugs" Myers.
He is survived by: his mother Laura Franks; his children, Eddy Oliver Cosby, Bryson Cosby and Odell Cosby, Jr. (Rachel); his grandchildren, Ava Grace Cosby, Riah Oliver, Braxton Oliver and Sagen Oliver; his siblings, Rodney Cosby, Sr. (Mary), Laine Haggard (Marvin) and Seleste Rice; and his close friends, Anna Do (Duc Ho) and Cheryl Dunn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, friends.
