He was predeceased by: his parents, Oties West, Sr. and Berniece Powell West; and his sister Joy West. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Elvove West; his children, Michael West (Holly D.) and Michele West; his grandchildren, Owen Michael West and Ashley Jordan West Carter (Ricky); his great grandchildren, Skylar Carter and River Carter; and his siblings, Bobby West (Valerie), Jim West (Ann) and Maxine Kendall (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
