He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vastine and Clara Chapman Huffman; his son Bill Howard; and his sister Louise Ross. He is survived by: his children, Darrell Vastine, Jeremy Vastine, Ronnie Huff, Debbie Smith, Tommy Huff, Kim Huff and Bonnie Atkins; and his sisters, Betty Wolfe and Phyllis Steinhauer. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren.
