She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alfred Hill and Beatrice Vaughn Hill; her brother William "Darrell" Hill (Jessica); and her sister-in-law Jennifer Gattis. She is survived by: her husband David Willis Lackey; her children, Melissa Rodriguez, Brian Wooten (Alyssa) and Amber Bryant (Jonathan); her siblings, Callie Jackson (Joe), Robert Hill, Jordan Hill (Cerria), Jessie Lackey (Kelly) and Colin Lackey; her stepmother Brenda Hill; her parents-in-law, David and Mary Lackey; and her sister-in-law Carol Hill. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, several nieces and one nephew.
