He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian and Lexie Mae Irick Sr. (Madden); his wife Paula Denise Damron Irick; and his brother Mark Irick. He is survived by: his daughters, Kaneallia Parsons (Mike) of Richmond and Chrissy Irick of Pikeville, Kentucky; his brothers, Julian Irick Jr. of Pikeville, Kentucky. and Brian Irick of Pikeville, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Emma Parsons and Trey Parsons; his parents-in-law, Rita Newsome and Earl Dean Newsome; and his siblings' children, Mark Irick Jr. of Pikeville and Nancy Irick of Warren, Michigan..
