He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Walters, Jr. and Tressie Clemons Walters; and his siblings, Louise Kramp, Patricia Ann Gilliam, Teddy Walters and Bobby Walters.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lamb Walters; his daughters, Hope Goff, Patricia Ann Walters and Virginia Slone; his siblings, James Combs, Harry Wells, Ronald Walters, Lola Walters, Lavonda Spriggs and Levita Walters; and his grandchildren, Logan Justice, Neila Fleming, Theon Fleming and Rebecca Slone.
Family request In-Lieu-of-Flowers donations be made to the Lucas and Son Funeral Home.
