He was predeceased by: his wife Glenys Walls (King); his son Robert Walls; and his siblings, Reba Jean Walls and Rondal Walls. He is survived by: his brother William Walls; his granddaughter Amanda Walls; his friends, Noble Smith, Sherill Owens, Logan Ross, Charlie Ross, Warren Logan, Larry Wallen, Tim Dixon, Steve Hall, Lee Armstrong, Charles, Edna Bryant and Phil Miller; Patricia Walls and Jean Christenson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Early in his career, he laid the block foundation for the church house in the Blue Heron Community.
