It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Glenn Cottrell of Pine Knot, Kentucky, born in Chase City, Virginia, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Cottrell and Nola Cottrell (Meadows). He is survived by : his aunts, Doris Gaertner of Strunk, Beverly Wilson (Merrell) of Stearns and Nancy Meadowd of Pine Knot; and his uncle Floyd Meadows of Strunk. He is also survived by several cousins and extended family.
